Technology Services

The company had build its name on a number of successful high-tech technologies developed, installed and maintained by the company. These technologies serve the company as a base for its plans to follow new opportunities and expand onto new high-tech markets. The cornerstones on Innotrek technology are:

Broadband Technology

The INet Hotel Broadband System or "Advanced Broadband Technology Installation Service for Hotels", uses "Innotrek Intelligent Broadband LAN System". This system combines Power Line Communication (PLC) with DSL technology and LAN technology, creating a brand new Broadband technology. The development of this system earned support of the "Innovative Fund for Technology Firms".

The Broadband System applies high-speed PLC technology through telephone and cable lines, and effectively solves connection instability of existing traditional PLC systems. Besides, the system also eliminated the need for additional wiring and construction work commonly associated with the broadband network installations, making the system highly suitable for hotel installations, and appealing to hotel managements as time and cost effective. The minimal construction interference and low cost appeal especially to the existing hotels, which do not want to sacrifice sales for upgrading.

To attract more hotels, Innotrek offers its customers a "Complete, Single-day Broadband Set Up" lease model, charging the hotel a low rate per room each day. This model emphasizes both, the low realization cost and fast installation speed.

The company's also markets its INet products as Residential Broadband Technology. With minimum construction requirements, the system minimizes the set-up investment and, at the same time, solves the connectivity problems between the levels within the building.

Traffic Monitoring Systems

Innotrek developed its own INNO-Car Identification System and this system passed all the approval procedures with the Chinese Public Safety Bureau and received the Ministry Certification. The INNO-Car Identification System allows the authorities to monitor streets, and swiftly solve traffic crimes such as speeding and hit-and-run accidents. Innotrek markets and supplies its system with Traffic Control Bureaus across China and substantially contributes to public safety.

Similar to the Innotrek's Broadband Installations, the company offers this system to the Traffic Control Bureaus using a lease model. The lease model allows the Traffic Control Bureaus to use the INNO-Car Identification System without the initial investment. This lease model allows the Traffic control centers increase their revenues immediately, while they pay for installation and maintenance through installments.

INNO-Car Identification System and Innotrek's leasing model proved themselves highly profitable, and the company plans to continue to market this successful product further across Chinese cities.

As many know, the business negotiation process in China differs from the negotiation practices of the west. While Chinese business negotiations have the same goal as those of the western world, they spring from different cultural platforms. Chinese negotiators in general concern themselves more with the means than the end results, with the process rather than the goal.

Business negotiations rely on following cultural and historical bases:

  1. Agrarian Origins: 2/3rds of Chinese population live in rural areas, where the sense of community and familial hierarchy takes over the sense of individualism, and many citydwellers have their roots in this setting.
  2. Morality: The 2000-year-old Confucian teaching still represents an important thread in the moral fiber of society. Confucius maintained that a society organized under a benevolent moral code would be prosperous and politically stable and therefore safe from attack. He also taught reverence for scholarship and kinship. Confucius defined five cardinal relationships: between ruler and ruled, husband and wife, parents and children, older and younger brothers, and friend and friend. Except for the last, all the relationships were strictly hierarchical.
  3. Chinese pictographic language: The pictographic language allows Chinese seeing the big picture better than the westerners, while westerners have easier time focusing on details.
  4. Wariness of Foreigners: This has been learned through the country's long and violent history of attacks.

Innotrek Technology Co. is native to China and respects and uses all the cultural nuances necessary to successfully accommodate its potential clients, whether they represent a large business opportunity (Figure 3.), or a regular day to day business negotiation (Figure 4.).
